enough for some but he had

grown tired.

A plan for college,

A plan for the family,

You must have a plan to stay. 

 

He stayed in isolation

but was not lost in it.

He dreamt of his own world.

 

A world of creation,

A world freedom,

A world of hard work to

show what he could do. 

 

He sat planning and

applying, hoping to 

one day take in the city.

 

The lights, the music, 

The dream. 

 

Whether it was crushed

or squandered, 

Whether he found success 

or fame,

He had to go find himself.
