He is told by Wendy and Peter that their parents would arrive shortly when they are sitting in the nursery and drinking tea while viewing a peaceful environment. She still need to learn, but is being resistant to his fathers ways.  It is now morning and David met George for breakfast. The father explained that the children broke back into the nursery. He let them stay and they formed the pattern for David, the psychologist could see. There was a scream and the children left the room and left lions, munching on their earlier catch. George was telling him many feelings while he stupid the walls. He told him that he was letting them down. He explained that his children are used to a “Santa Claus” now they have a “Scrooge”. Kids will always perform a “Santa Claus”. David tells George that he has built his life wrong and needs to change his life. The lions then finished their meal and were standing on the end of the clearing to watch the two men.

Peter his son doesn't want him to sell or lock it up. He feels like he's going to do everything himself without maids. He doesn't want to have to work, he rather jusg be sitting and observing. David McLean is one of Hadley's good friends. They go out and talk while they watch the lions eat. McLean ask Hadley about the house and what he's going to do. Hadley says that's he's not sure.
