The book follows these three seemly polar opposite girls as they try to overcome the feeling lonely and try to make friends after they have had something traumatic happen to them. It goes on to show the long roller coaster that these three girls have to go on to shake that feeling of loneliness. They come together with the help of a librarian and a magic box that she lets each of them borrow and they each leave a gift that another girl finds and these gifts help them get the courage they need.

My thoughts on the book

This book was a delightful read as I could relate to the problems that these girls where going through at that age. I think that they book was captivating from beginning to end and had me on the edge of my seat wondering what was going to happen next. It was an emotional book because some of the problems that these girls had to deal with like, one girl's mother ran away to become famous, and she had to live without knowing her mom. I think anyone who reads this will find a little bit of themselves in these girls. The author makes this book an easy to understand book with the lack of big words and relateable themes.

1.) Friendship:
-This theme starts from the very beginning of the book. Each girl starts off as someone who either lost a friend or someone who needs a friend. As the book progresses they each find that friendship is what can help solve all of their problems.

2.) Own worst enemy:
- This theme is presented in the book with each girl by showing their condescending thoughts that they have toward their selves. They have a hard time getting to point of success because they constantly think that they can't do it.
