I am doing my paragraph on snow and how I think that it is very important in the film. I think that snow is very important in this movie and that it plays a major role in it, the reason why I think that snow is very important in Edward Scissorhands is because it is used as a symbol of homecoming. Like at the end when Edward goes back to the castle and it starts snowing because he was making ice sculptures. It is a symbol of homecoming because it shows when edward goes back home to the castle. Snow is also important in the movie because it shows when Edward is alive, like at the end of the movie when the old woman tells the child about how Edward is the one who makes it snow and that she knows he's alive as long as it snows. These are the reasons why I think that snow is incredibly important in this movie and why the movie wouldn't be as good without it.

When snow comes into the scene happy music starts playing because the people of the village are happy that there is finally snow in the village. Also, close-ups are used very commonly when it snows in the movie because they close up on the faces of joy which the citizens have when it snows, close up is also used when Edward is cutting the ice scupture and the camera closes up on the face of concentration that he has. This means that the two elements of CAMELS I associate this with are sound because of the music and also camera because of the close-up. These are the reasons why I think that CAMELS is associated with Edward Scissorhands and that it plays an important role with snow. Thsnk you for reading!!!
