Billie the singer who rose to fame in 2017 with her song 'ocean eyes' after being rejected from studios for her music being 'too sad and depressing' was blessed with new levels of fame around the same time as XXXTentacions come up and the two became good friends. Billie quotes that “He has the biggest impact on me, I feel like. More than anybody else did,”. Their relatability stems from their 'sad' genres and using music as an outlet but the fact that jahseh (XXXTentacion) was 'a beam of light' in Billie's world, through his selfless and caring energy he influenced Billie to be more optimistic with believing in herself in the music industry and embracing her unique kind of creativity no matter what.

Amy Winehouse has inspired me through her rebellion to the concept of genre's and the way she embraces uniqueness within her music. Amy says because she is a 'jaz singer' she can mix it up a little and will do so. I have always adored the somewhat 'vintage' edge to aesthetics whether it be within music or just life in general and Amy Winehouse has been the perfect role model for representing multiple sounds, and aesthetics at once to create art.

Billie Eilish has inspired me through the use of simplicity and a sense of 'minimalism' within her music production (by Finneas) as well as through her vocals. Throughout the years Billie's music has evolved but she has managed to maintain the sense of simplicity in her music with raw sounding instruments and softer background sounds. With Billie having a 'less is more' approach to music she still manages to create dramatic and emotional songs like 'No time to die' or 'xanny',. The way she dramatises the simple things in life has shaken my entire approach towards creation of my music and helped me realise inspiration is everwhere.

Through this quote Billie shows Lana Del Rey has inspired Billie Eilish on the lyrical side of things, specifically through using a different characters perspective. Although there is no mention of any song in particular i personally believe Billie is suggesting Lana's song Carmen was a game changer for Billie's music career as the song has been written in third person perspective.
