When I was younger, I wanted to study medicine because I wanted to take care of my parents.
Imagining being able to help others, being able to cure diseases, relieve pain or save lives is great and beautiful. I am very struck by how challenging medicine is, it requires a great amount of knowledge, skills and critical thinking. Studies and how scientific advances can improve human health arouse a lot of curiosity.
