When I moved from public then health into academic libraries, I felt really out of place. I've always spoken with a very broad northern accent, which gets commented on a lot, but I've worked hard to get where I have gotten to and am proud to be working class! I've embraced it the further I got into delivering sessions, and actually have a joke now with students through introducing it into my sessions when going through boolean when highlighting synonyms.
