         <description><![CDATA[<p>Quarantine causing millions to stay inside created some pent up energy. Once allowing everyone to roam freely many wanted to go travel and explore. This influx of people traveling was hard for airports to handle after having to lay off so many for the lack of air travel need. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Directly after covid, instability in the airports was extremely high as no one could agree what regulations should be in place. strong arguments were made as to why mask still should be worn as well as why they shouldn't. Overall these disagreements just slowed the return to normal air travel. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>Covid itself caused more deaths than other catastrophic events. Examples being Hurricane Katarina and World War 2. It was also reported more death in two weekdays then on 9/11 attacks. When put into perspective to these events it really shows how many lives were lost.</p><p><br></p><p>It also potentially explains why regulation disagreements where such a huge thing. Could stricter regulations have prevented more?</p>]]></description>

Specifically for the colored minority, whose lives were lost at a higher rate during the pandemic. This has caused a push in activism to give more support to these communities. </p><p><br></p><p>Black children were twice as likely to lose a parent then their white counterparts. </p><p><br></p><p>Indigenous children were five times as likely.</p>]]></description>

Inequalities began to show through when statistics of how Brown and Black people were losing there jobs at higher rates. Looking closer, the already lower income minorities took the largest hits in economic status and loss of jobs. </p>]]></description>

In 2000 it was shown black men were paid around 73 cents to the white mans dollar.  Even worse for black women, who were paid 64 cents to the white mans dollar.</p>]]></description>
