* Conceptual artist.
* "Date paintings" (this work consisted of several canvas, which were painted daily by Oh Kawara. They had attached the date, very minimalist and depending on the country that the artist was, he wrote the date according to the shape of writing of each country , have different colors. One hypothesis discussed during the lessons was that the colors related to the artist's mood on the day and at the time he painted the canvas.
* Something I liked about Oh Kawara´s work was the minimalism of the canvas , that that even if they are simple, they can have a big meaning behind, an important date, something that marked the life of the artist.

This work, done by the artist Antonio Ballester, takes the title of "Vivam os Campos Livres". All the mushrooms that are part of the installation were made by children, students of the CEU's in São Paulo. The context, according to the artist, was to talk about growth, and that children had to enter in some way in this work. Along with this collection, the artist also counts some pictures, representing rain, sun and humus, for the. mushroom growth.
I found the idea incredible, the size of this collection is very impressive! And the participation of children for the work, gave an even more special tone. Each mushroom is different from the other, has its particularities, representing each one who participated in the installation.

* Thaddeus Wolfe is becoming famous , on the design world, for his glass sculptures, vases and lamps, which looks like crystal formations that were from subterranean caverns. He uses gypsum silica molds to create the colorful shapes. The molds from the sculptures are destroyed during the cutting and polishing stage of the process, so each object comes out unique.
* This is an inspiration, because its not an convenient way to use glass, that I can maybe use in a another project! In a certain way, his job fits in my collection because it is made of glass bottles, but the way it presents this sculpture, it does not relate very much to mine, but it is also an inspiration.

Militão had just joined to the LGBTS group, against the candidate Jair Bolsonaro. A group of women asked him to make an art to advertise on social networks with the hashtag #elenão. The artist had no idea that his poster was going to take the proportion that it took. He created it with the intuition to help the movement, to make the tag gain strength. He thought of creating something that would really draw attention.
*An interesting part of this was that, as Militão had not placed credits, no one knew who the author was, but was very moved because he contributed a lot to this fight.
* His job will always be reminder for us, for the strength it has taken

They contain meters of height, that is, there is no way to go through an environment in which it is exposed and not see. The purpose of this, in my opinion, was to really bring the public's attention so that they pay attention to what is happening around them.

She dropped everything and when she saw it, she was already involved with the drawings and murals she painted all over the world.
I met this artist by instagram and I was amazed by her work. I found it very beautiful because they are drawings of wonderful women and with a palette of colors that I identify and use a lot: black, white, gray and sometimes a very light pink. Pastel tones that, in my opinion, harmonize a lot and give a sense of tranquility, in the case of Hanna's work.
She also adds to her work a few phrases, or sometimes, just words, in a letter that has fits directly with the paintings.

She says that when she listens to songs, she sees colors, or when she read some books, colors appear in her brain. Roberta thinks that this is a gift in fact, that with this she is forced to "expel" her thoughts and make them into illustrations.
Another interesting part of the interview is when the artist talks about her creative process. Roberta prefers. working at night, says that it is a moment where the lights are lower, there is not so much noise and then she can connect with the right part of her brain. Often the breeder wakes up and does not remember what she did the night before, and when she looks at her work, she is enchanted again.

This make the lecture more like a conversation about the house, not a formal presentation.

In this field of Fine Arts, the campus of work is very miscellaneous, you can work for a company, or by your self. You can be Fine Artist, Illustrator, Exhibition Designer , Graphic Designer, Printmaker and among others several works.

I think that I will follow the way of fine arts, because I fit into it. On my projects, I always use something into this field, softwares, photography, draw . It is something that like doing it and the The probability that I will continue on this path is huge.

Kevin showed us some videos of how some series and movies are made with special effects and I was shocked at the way these transformations happen, the way we see the movie ready and how it is actually made.

This field, as well as graphic design and illustration, is very broad, given the number of courses that exist with the motion theme.
I don't thing this field is for me, as much as I was impressed by the thing that they can do, I don't have so much interest on the theme. I appreciate much more doing illustration, that I can pass things that I think, then doing visual effects or games.

*Deniz is an artist who uses a lot of typography in her work through the necessary forms, as for example, in one of her trunks, there is the map of the state of Texas and inside, this written texas filled with the flag of the United States .. It is like if the artist creates a mask and with each job, she uses this mask and fills it with typography.
* For me, Deniz's work is sophisticated and well thought out, because when using typography, it takes this critical thinking about the alliance between the source and what is written and Deniz manages to harmonize this very well.

At the end of the room was a window with a red filter and a panoramic view of São Paulo.
*My first impression was of fear, because as it was dark the place, I did not know where I was stepping in and, even more with the plates roaring at all times, I was very anxious to touch something. Despite of the feelings, it was very interesting the experience, passing between the boards, even with the weird feeling, was a great experience.

ENTRETER BY MOTTA & LIMA
* This second exhibition was very different from the other. Now a bright place and the facilities were mounts of amusement park toys, made with led. At first glance, I thought of this possibility but I was not sure about one of the installations which, in my view, did not look like a toy. But in the end, when I read the explanation of the works, i concluded that they were toys. It was very interesting, draws my attention art that includes light, it seems that gives a life and vibration art, very cool!

VIK MUNIZ - vista 360

* The artist's installations consist of "photos" of landscapes in São Paulo. However, if you get closer, note that the entire photo is made of scrap and mounted in a large space and then, taken a photo.
*I found Vik Muniz's ability to portray these landscapes very impressive. As soon as I saw the photos, I wondered how the mount had been: whether it had been made digitally, or if it dumped into a large space and made it on the same floor, building the prospects and it was just that. Beside the pictures, I had a movie explaining the process with photos and videos from the assembly of the photos.

However a part of it that does not surprise me much, not in the Irving Penn photos, but in a general context, they are pictures of still life.

*Veridiana graduated in architecture but decided to leave the area to devote herself to the illustration.
*the artist's illustrations look happy, at least that's how I felt when I saw them. the one that most caught my attention was an illustration in a magazine, in which the title was "Art or Industry?". Throughout the text, the illustration repeats itself, a woman holding a man, but with different actions. The way she painted / colored the design gave a 3D way, because most of the illustration is red, but have a blue shadow in the outline. I loved this effect, and also how the ilsutration fits the text.

AA by Andrés Sandoval

This work is composed of six ads for print media and external media pieces, with illustrations signed by Andres Sandoval. The main objective is to illustrate the basic principle of the group Alcoholics Anonymous, whose main motto is: when someone helps others to become sober, they also reaches sobriety. The agents of this project want to inform the group that they are not only patients but doctors because they are helping their colleagues, as well as helping themselves.

The illustrations show two people, always the same, but in different situations, helping each other. They always appear with calm expressions and no worries, sometimes doing things together, or just helping the other. An interesting fact that I noticed was the facial expression of the two characters. The eye always seems to be closed and they always have a half smile. Maybe due to the theme, which is nothing funny or fun, looks like they are recovering from something.

Andres Sandoval ‘illustrations are not very detailed, especially in this project. The draws are minimalist, without much frills when he are drawing the details of a face, Another detail is the way he fills the pages in some drawing that are small or has small objects. Sometimes he paints the background, others he fill with super minimalist designs that match with the situation .

The material used by the artist also caught my attention. I think it was a kind of charcoal, or just a black pencil. The fact that the book is all monochromatic, of an aspect of seriousness, relating to the theme, but a calmness by the facial expression of the characters.

In my opinion, this initiative was a great way to empower, rather than victimize or just point the finger to those who suffer from this disease. A very unusual way, with illustrations, to show everyone a serious problem, rather than showing photographs, or phrases of effect that everyone is tired of hearing. This idea was a great way to call. attention of the public, in an inconvenient way.

The job of the artist called my attention, by the fact that by the fact that he fit his drawings in very unusual environments, that somehow become part of the story.
Another thing that i observe was how his interventions, draws the attention of the people who pass through them, who are often in buildings. They are big draws, and they are always in movement, witch makes more interesting. He does not adapt the environment so that his work is in the first place, he adapts his work, so that the environment and his work fit in the best way.

John Baldessari is a conceptual artist, well-known in his area and in his time. In one of his projects, the main purpose of the artist was to give a new meaning to his works, burning all of him in a crematorium. This movement was in the summer of 1970 and it is not known until today the total of works that were burned.
The main criticism of this work was to show the importance of each work that was burned and, mainly, the creation of another work on top of others, which in the opinion of the artist himself was his best work.
This work had a great influence on my work because I gave a new meaning and a new look to the old photos used in my work. My main goal was to make people not look at the photos with distress but rather with affection, of being focused on each of them, with their particular stories.

Christian Boltanski is well known for his work using old photos. The artist has a unique way of presenting his works. always very well thought out in relation to the thoughts of the people who will see them.
This aspect, which was much discussed in the artist's works, made much of my process as well, for in portraying stories and narratives that had something in common, I had to think about how to relate them in a way that would make clear to the observer the meaning of my work.
Christian's montage and style are very pleasing to me because they are clean works, full of history and objects, but the message is clear. The different materials, different printing techniques he uses are also very interesting, sometimes transparent photos, sometimes original, kneaded, projections.

It became well known around 1920 and constituted a game in which the proposal was added to a drawing, collage or sentence, without seeing what others had already done. It was played by three or four people and, at the end, one could see the result and it was a work, assembled by the players themselves.
I found the idea very interesting, at the end forming something that can be used not only in the game but in people's lives, as a souvenir.

Is a way that intrigues the person who will keep it, creating more expectations and curiosity about it.

She also says that her motivation for doing so was "perversity of a corporation owning a shape," and most importantly, the vision of these companies to have a certain model of their own.

Works on one of the most recognized companies of lettering paint on Brazil, Sinlogo.
In this project, opn RedBullStation, the artist had with main objetive join brazilian works, that had something related to lettering. From this, he started to produce some card with this names on it with the characteristics related to lettering. For this exposition, he worked with big letters and many collors, to give contrast to the work. What i appreciate about his work is the perfection of the letters and how he mix the colors, without being over killing. He knows how to combine the posters with the design of each one and also, even if they have several posters on one wall only, they can expose them in a way that everyone stands out and none is hidden.

"Encontro de Mares", made by Fabio Moraes is a work made from atlas and dictionaries. When seeing the work, it is possible to realize that the dictionaries make a species of island in the middle of the sea (atlas). The island of dictionaries has 20 languages: Portuguese, Italian, French, Italian, English, German, Greek, Swedish, Danish, Polish, Hungarian, Dutch, Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Hebrew, Arabic and Yoruba.I find it very interesting to work with maps, as they can be a great source of research and inspiration as well. They can be worked in several ways: collage, clipping, in book like Fabio Moraes used. And besides, their tone pleases me a lot because it is almost always a blue that transports calm and tranquility.

The Casa do Pequeno Cidadao is an institution. wiotch have as main objective take care of childers, who had no families or that the families didn't welcome them.
In the house, they have some programmes for eduaction for the childrens such as formal education, School Monitoring and Complementary Education. In relation to their families, the house has some flexibility for the visits. The visits are normally scheduled at weekends, with the purpose of extending this family relationship. What i was most impression about was the infrastructure that they have. It is a very clean and organized place for the childers ans also, they have big space for them to have fun, with is very important. The only thing that bothered me was the design of the place, it is all white, with no colors at all, looking like a hospital. And that is why we want this project to go forward, because it is an intervention that is necessary for them to like their house and fill comfortable on it.

This intervention was made by Spencer Finch in The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Were chosen 26 shades of glass, inspired by the paintings of Claude Monet. These tones, printed on glass, have been scattered through the hospital windows and can be seen from far away. The artist worked on a revolutionary way, to improve the look of the hospital and give to them a reference, or a felling of a home. I found very interesting the match of the colors, it is not super high colors, with big saturation, but they cought your attention for it. I really liked this project because it is simple, with tones that please me and that can change the lives of so many people.
