1.  Title- Cesar Chavez

2.  Summary-He was leader of Cali farm workers union and inspired people all over to stop buying grapes to support farm workers.

3. Implications of Research (Why is it important?)
He was once a farm worker and he led the farm workers union to get the farm workers better pay.

4.  Connection to The Grapes of Wrath
Although the grapes of wraith doesn't have any connection to Chavezs grape boycott, he did a lot to support the farm workers in California when no one else would.

1.  Title- Time to end shameful abuse; Migrant workers

2.  Summary-they are hard working and don't get paid a lot. Vulnerable to exploitation. They don't get strong protections from the government.

3. Implications of Research (Why is it important?) Because even today, the government doesn;t help these workers who work very hard and provide the people with fresh fruits and vegtables.

4.  Connection to The Grapes of Wrath- Just like today, the workers were treated badly and like they weren't apart of the society. The government didn;t help them and they had no way to get any money.

2.  Summary-Migrant workers are people who move across the country looking for temporary jobs in agriculture. The U.S encountered the greatest number of migrant workers from 1890 to 1914. Migrant workers stimulate the economy by working hard and buying goods.

3. Implications of Research (Why is it important?)
It shows what the definition of a migrant worker and how the okies migrated during the dust bowl in Oklahoma

4.  Connection to The Grapes of Wrath- It talks about how the okies were migrants in the 1930's and this book portrays the experience the okies and other migrant workers had as they were mistreated.
