         <title>Why do I need to know about DNA? </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>We need to understand the structure of DNA so we can understand how proteins are made for our body. <strong>DNA holds the instructions for making proteins</strong>. The <strong>sequence of nitrogenous bases (A, T, C, G)</strong> in DNA forms a <strong>code</strong>, and that code tells the cell <strong>which amino acids to put together and in what order</strong> to build a specific protein.</p><p>The structure is important because:</p><ul><li><p>The <strong>order of the bases</strong> (the genetic code) determines the <strong>order of amino acids</strong> in a protein.</p></li><li><p><strong>Base pairing rules</strong> ensure the code is copied correctly during transcription (A with U in RNA, and C with G).</p></li><li><p>The <strong>double helix structure</strong> helps protect the code and ensures accurate replication and transcription.</p></li></ul><p>In short, understanding DNA’s structure helps us understand how cells read and use genetic information to build proteins, essential molecules for life.</p>]]></description>
