The book is about a boy - the Little Prince - who came from planet B612. It is a tiny planet, not larger than a house. Since it was so small, the Little Prince has nothing to explore. Therefore, he decided to visit other planets and the Earth. He landed at the Sahara desert. There, he met a pilot. They spent days together with each other and day by day they understood each other more. There is no contemporary flavour in this story, but it does raise complex issues of loyalty and good family relationships. The key factors that don't make the story predictable are the unharried narration, the voluminous revealing of the minor roles personalities with their problems, as well as the major character's experiences and her contradictory views of this family. And even the smallest roles have their own description. The outstanding treatment of realism in this book captured my heart! Its cover captured my heart at first sight, so did the summary, thus I decided to buy it. It's about a so-called "accident" at a middle school, the female protagonist's daughter was found dead in the pool. Everyone thought she fell, but in fact, two students drown her after electrocuting her as a result of a test for an equipment one of them invented. The mother knew this and couldn't do anything but revenge since the culprits were underage. What I like about this book is that the plot is so obvious and unpredictable at the same time, also it tells the story from different perspectives, from the mother to the culprits. It contains complex issues too, and the ending sentence is stuck in my mind to this day.
