would look like if they were in this situation. The students

will then go in front of the class to tell about their picture.

Students must explain why they drew their stripes.

Understanding: How can you relate to this story?

Applying: What questions would you ask in an interview with Camilla?

Analyzing: What evidence can you find that Camilla is unhappy with herself?

Evaluating: Would it be better if she did not eat the lima beans?

Creating: How would you design your stripes?

The students will fill out a crossword puzzle

for all of the vocabulary words in the story.

handle the situation.

As a class, we would play the game popcorn. The teacher starts out

reading and then picks a student to read next.

This continues with the students picking

another classmate to pick up where they left off.
