He also had many inconsistencies in his story, which could have meant that he was making it up. In addition, Jay could have been jealous that Adnan was so close with Stephanie, so Jay decided to kill someone that used to be close to Adnan.

-Mr. S is a possible suspect because when he went to look for a place to pee he somehow stumbles upon Hae's body. Detectives couldn't even see the body when they were right in front of the body. Mr.S also had a criminal record so it wouldn't be a surprise that he killed Hae.

-Don is another possible suspect because he was at work the day Hae went missing but he wasn't scheduled to work. Also, his mom was his boss so she could have covered for her son.

That is when Adnan calls Jay about Stephanie's birthday. Jenn also states that she calls Adnan's phone expecting to talk to Jay at 8:04. She says that Adnan picks up and claims that Jay is busy and will call her back. Then a minute later there is another call to Jenn.

A big inconsistency in the case is the main witness Jay. Everytime he spoke to the detectives he changed his story. For example, at first Jay said he never helped Adnan bury Hae's body. Then the second time he talked to the detectives he said he did help Adnan. A big inconsistency is where Jay saw the body. First, he told the detectives that he saw the body at Edmondson Ave. Then, he said he saw the body in the Best Buy parking lot by the school. And in a recent interview he said he actually saw the body as his grandmothers house and lied because he didn't want to get his grandma in trouble, and he store his weed there. How could the detectives trust someone who clearly is making up a story and adding new details in every time.

The detectives said the main reason Adnan is in jail is because of the cell phone log. They said the 2:36 call was indeed the call when Adnan called Jay to pick him up after he just killed Hae. The inconsistency is that on the records from the phone company it said that incoming calls may not be accurate. The 2:36 incoming call could have been incorrect and that could be the reason that Adnan was wrongly convicted.

I think one of the major inconsistencies is the phone booth at Best Buy. Jay claims there was a payphone around the side of Best Buy and that is where Adnan called Jay to pick him up. Employees who worked at Best Buy claimed there was never a payphone on the side of their store. Even a customer who has been shopping at that Best Buy for years has claimed that the only access to a phone is inside the store. This is a major problem because if there was no payphone how did Adnan call Jay. If Adnan went into the store to call Jay it would not have fit into the 22 minutes from when they left school and when Hae died

Personally, I can't decide who the murder of Hae Min Lee is. But if I had to take a guess I would say Jay and Adnan did it together. I think it's very weird that Adnan gave Jay his cellphone and car, and they weren't even close friends they just smoked weed together. I think at 10:45 when Adnan called Jay they came up with a plan to kill Hae. I think this because if it was Stephanie's birthday why would Jay hangout with Adnan and Jenn and not his girlfriend. I think Adnan had Jay do the murdering after school and Jay is the one who strangled Hae. Adnan picked Jay to help him because he has a record and they would suspect Jay more then Adnan. Adnan was in the library when Jay was killing Hae and that is when Asia saw Adnan. After, Adnan went to track practice then Jay picked him up from track practice. Then they went to Leakin Park to bury Hae's body. I think Adnan did most of the burying but Jay helped bury her too. Lastly, Jay calls Jenn to pick him up and he blamed the whole thing on Adnan.
