I was only 10 years old when playing outside with my friends where I would be hit right in the face that had felt like it was a rock or something heavy. I would open my eyes laying on the ground where I would touch my face and see my fingers having blood on them. My friends would see this and help find a teacher to go to the nurse. Once I had gotten to the nurse they helped me stop the bleeding while I was waiting to be taken to the hospital to get stitches to make sure the cut doesn’t get worse. All that had happened showed me to be aware of my surroundings.

I mostly stayed with the kids at the place we all stayed over there and with my family. The hardest part was adjusting to the environment because it was mostly hot over there. The best part that I liked was going on the motorcycle.

One problem that impacted my childhood is that I didn't have a dad that I stayed with to teach me the things young kids should know. And a lot of stuff was hard for my mom, I felt bad for her that she had to do everything on her own, meaning paying bills, feeding me, sheltering me, and taking care of me. This is why I am always thankful for her.

A childhood experience I've had was when my dad took me and my brother to Dave and Busters over the summer. This was my first time going since all I knew was there was a ton of games to play there. Once we arrived, I could feel a competition brewing between me and my brother. This was definitely going to be not only the "best" winning battle between the 2 of us, but also a memory that will never be forgotten.

A few years back, I remember when I used to play soccer and it was the championships. We sadly lost the game and when we lost, the coach distributed out the trophies and the trophies were distributed incorrectly. Instead of giving our team the 2nd place and the other team 1st place, they accidently mixed it around and gave our team 1st place and the other team 2nd place. One of my teammates realized that it was 1st place and not 2nd place and told the coach so everyone was starting to give back the trophies. But I wanted to keep the 1st place so I rushed to my dad and told him that we have to go. So we left, but then one of the coach's followed us and asked if I had the 1st place trophy , and I lied and said I didn't. And I had to hide the trophy from my dad the whole ride, and this impacted my life because I was scared to tell my dad the truth.

I am very grateful to have them in my life, they teach me the way of life and what to do when I'm in a situation, they support me and prepare me until I become old enough to move out the house. One thing that upsets me is the fact that I'll never see them again one day.

I remember going to the Penn relay once. My family had to drive all the way from Brooklyn to Pennsylvania. When we got to the stadium that was hosting the event, it was very crowded and the heat didn't help at all. It took us a while to find our seats and actually sit down. But for the whole relay, it was extremely hot and we were directly under the sun. The relay itself was very confusing and hard to see. But despite the flaws from the trip, surprisingly, I had fun with my family.

A childhood memory that impacted my life was when I was traveling with family. While we were in the pool, my cousin, who was 1 year younger than me, decided it would be funny to push me into the deep end of the pool. During that time period, I was 4'11 and could not swim. I almost drowned, until my sister came to help. I've learned to never trust someone so quickly. Ever since then, I've never looked at my cousin the same.

Since that day I use to be afraid to come outside the building I would have to look both ways out the door before walking out the building or someone would have to walk out the building with me. Another incident happened, I seen someone get shot in front of my building. It effects me again because I was scared to walk out the building again. So every since then i would just be afraid a lot around crowds then sometimes i can start almost having a lot of anxiety.

The best childhood memoirs is when me and my basketball team won a championship game. I was at the age of 13 and I was playing the power forward position. I was on the court and it was the 4th quarter, and my teammate passed me the ball and I went up for a lay up. My team was up by 10 and I got fouled out of the game. The other team made two shots so it was up to my team to keep the clock running and not to let the other team score or let them get foul calls. There were a few seconds in their game and my team took the ball out, brought it down the court and waited for the clock to get to zero, when the clock got to zero my team jumped out of the seats because we won the game. We got our first place trophy and we took our team pictures.

A childhood experience that has impacted by life is the time I had witnessed an argument that had started because of me. Prior to the argument, there was an incident at a church I heavily didn't want to go to, since I was uncomfortable with churches. I recall some stranger touching me, trying to forcefully convert me to religion, unfortunately my mom had not noticed, so I had my sister step in and get the stranger away from me. My sister proceeded to yell at the person and almost choked the person. The day after my sister and mother argued if it was my fault or not. My mom figured it was nothing and wouldn't impact me in the slightest, my sister had proved otherwise. I was in distress, I was angry, I broke many things when I got home. It got so physical my mom began throwing knives at my sister, and they dragged each other. I recall I left my house, however I could've still heard them outside and sat there thinking that it was probably my fault. I have never gone to a church since then, and refuse to go to one.

During the summer of 2021, I was anxious of going to mexico with only my sister as the one of the only relatives I knew at the time. My mother assured that everything would be ok, even if we would be seperated from each other during the beggining of the trip. I slowly was convinced that everything was going to be ok, from a secure enviornment to many things that we would do such as going to water parks or citites. When we were in mexico after the flight, I did not know what was going to happen next, but I truly overestimated my anxiety, we visted a waterpark, we went to many cities and even a big marketplace. The truth is, don't overestimate everything, since if you just take it in or try to overcome it, you will get used to it and youl'll expirience a true wonder.

When I was young I was not open to people because the last time I had a friend They did not care about me. They were not really a friend, because of this I never tried making friends. I was a silent kid, when someone talked to me it was like they were talking to a rock. Though when someone wanted to be my friend they seemed like a person I could trust, I had fun with them and wanted to have more friends. I started to be open to people, I learned to be more open so I could make new friends.

One childhood memory I had was when I went to Florida for vacation. We got to my uncle's house and went to the backyard to say hi to everyone. When I said hi to my uncle, he pulled me into the pool. That's when I realized that my DS was still in my pocket. I tried to turn it on but it was broken. I also lost my Kirby save file. This taught me never to go near the pool with my DS.
