While I can understand withholding the introduction of technology until further development, this will also be something children will use their entire lives. I believe there should be a balance of technology and real-world application time.

This is a great question! In my opinion I think it should be balanced. I think there should be a little bit of technology when students are young just because they are going to be using it their whole lives. But also not have near as much just so they have their social skills and are able to function without technology for as long as needed.

In my opinion, I think introducing technology in elementary schools is beneficial for children's development because almost everything in our society today uses or is controlled by technology. So, getting a head start in learning about it and understanding how to use it is beneficial for the children in their educational journey and will help them in the future with their secondary education, postsecondary education, and careers.

I personally believe that introducing children to technology when they are in elementary can be beneficial because in today's society, everything is technology and I think students should learn about it and how to use it. I also think that there should be a limit too. With younger students it is also important that they have good social skills in real life outside of technology.

I believe that children should be taught technology at a young age. Maybe not super early on, but definitely in elementary. Technology plays such a huge role in everyday life, so it would be best that children learn young so that they are not behind.

I would argue that we use technology too much in schools and kids get burned out. Elementary kids don't need computers like middle or highschool kids. Most elementary assignments are on paper. I believe that hands on activities is vital for young students' development growth. However, it is benificial to introduce them to technology because it will prepare them for middle and highschool. While I believe that elementary kids don't really need computers, introducing technology little by little will help them in the future.

This is a really good question! Me personally i would say its very beneficial to introduce it to children while they are young. Teach them all the correct ways to be safe and use technology. Everyday the the world gets more modernized, and now days everything is at the touch of a button! I think it would be beneficial for the students in the long run to learn some technology skills early on.

This is an amazing question. I can see both sides of this idea. On one side, I don't think 3rd graders should have cell phones at that age, but on the other side, they need to know about the dangers of technology at an early age. This way, they can learn from others mistakes and try to not make the same ones, or even improve they way we use technology.

I believe that we should share technology with them. The way the world revolves around technology is amazing. Kids today use technology everyday. If we put it in schools or not they will be using it in some aspects of their life.
