This was suggested to me by one of my supervising teachers. Maybe not as easy as it once was with the phone away for the day, but you could at least record audio, which may help you identify what you said vs what you intended to say to improve practice. You could also record yourself as a "practice run" which I found Flip a good platform for this. If you are happy with what you recorded you could add these as topics for students to respond to and answer/pose questions they might have. I have included two examples of teachers that have done this for Maths.

I enjoy watching Eddie's material, he has calm and supportive tone to his instructional method and quite often i learn little tips and tricks to incorporate into my lessons. Yes, the classroom can appear to be quite staged in terms of students behaviours, but is it because of his passion and engagement? A great example of how recording yourself may help and benefit others greatly.

Joel Speranza started on Youtube but has now created his own website. What I like about Joel's content is you can locate what you are looking for much more easily than Wootube and you could recommend it for your students if you don't want to record your own videos.

Recently started tutoring at a secondary school after school for boarders and had to start working with students on their IA's. Like most of us we probably haven't had much exposure to them, nor did we complete such structured assessments throughout our high school. Hopefully we all get stepped through this by more experienced teachers when we start our teaching positions. I've found them helpful for Maths and Business, since Maths IA's are more about writing and literacy than the math.
