• Title: The Midnight library

• Author: Matt Haig

• Year of publication: 2020

• Genre: Fiction / Fantasy and Philosophical fiction.

• What is it about?:

The book describes the story of a girl who finds a library in the process of life and death. There she finds books that show her many versions of her life if she had made different decisions because she had a lot of regrets about things she didn't do when she was younger. This experience helped her appreciate her life and the people she met when she was alive.

• Opinion: This book is one of my favorite ones! I love that the author describes the story to make readers reflect on life and death. Also, the story made me think that we shouldn't live with regrets, and that we have a purpose in this life even when we think we don't. Oh, and I cried a lot when I finished reading it!

Title: The Art of War

Autor: Sun Tzu

Year of publication: 5th Century BC

Genre: Military Strategy

The book describes many military tactics of war like what to do before starting a war, winning without fighting, and what you have to do depending of the enemy's morale. It couldn't seem special, but the book also describes a lot of morals, of the soldiers and generals like no one can do anything without each other; they are a team and if someone is unconfident everyone loses.

I love this book, I know you can't use any strategy in real life, but it changes your mind, how it describes that everyone has to be confident with their team. It makes you reflect that you need to trust your team so they can trust in you, it makes me think how I'm bad at working in teams... please forget about the structure designers.

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki is about the differences between how his two dads thought about money. One dad the Poor Dad was super focused on getting a good education, working hard at a job, and saving money. The other dad the Rich Dad thought differently. He believed that to get rich, you need to learn about money, invest in things like real estate or businesses, and make your money work for you.

talks a lot about the difference between things that make you money and things that take your money away. He says rich people buy assets, while most people end up with liabilities, thinking they’re assets. For example, buying a fancy car might seem like a good idea, but it’s actually losing you money because of maintenance and depreciation.

The main idea is that school doesn't teach us how to handle money, so we need to take responsibility for learning about investing, building wealth, and not just depending on a paycheck. The book encourages thinking like a rich person, being smart about your finances, and learning from mistakes.
