This article discusses  chronic traumatic encephalopathy or otherwise known as C.T.E. This disease can be linked to extensive head trauma over a long period of time. This disease can be developed by pretty much any contact sport, job, or hobbies. This article focuses on the sport we all know as football and how The National Football League does whatever it can to suppress the horrible news, rather than raise awareness. Chris Borland, A third-round pick in 2014, was selected by the San Francisco 49ers and only played one year which he than retired. He had an outstanding first year with the team and surprised the football world when he decided to hang up the cleats so soon. When asked why he chose to retire, the answer was simple. The long term health risks outweighed his desire to play. He is now working with Scientists to raise awareness to the world on how NFL and other trade associations hide health risks. 
The ethical value behind this is lack of selflessness. The NFL is a huge money making corporation. Fans are blown away by how much players get paid, but in reality. They're making peanuts compared to the owners. This article brings up how the NFL attacks these science reports of C.T.E. just like how cigarette company's do it with cancer.
