         <title>On Friday June the 4th, the convicts departure from their native shores. Sea sickness commencing and many woman  suffer a great deal. The voyage was arduous and took around three months, although some voyages were reported as pleasant because a lot of the woman on the ship were getting sick.</title>

         <title>On board, a matron was appointed to supervise the regulate single women&#39;s daily lives.  Deck time was limited and compartments below deck were often cramped, dark and poorly ventilated. Most ships only had one bathroom for the single women, as others had none at all.</title>
