I'm  Carme Pons Serra  and I work at Escola L'Àlber as an English  and Art Teacher . This course 2018-19, 
I'm doing my GEP portfolio about Art  and English. It's a hard work but I enjoy it.  Here, I will show you some pictures and videos about my project.

This public school is located in Albesa, a small village near Lleida.
 Nowadays, Albesa has  a population of 1596 inhabitants. The school has 126 students from 3 to 12 years old.
                 
 It's a very  old and detriored school.
The school is divided in two buildings and the barracks. All of them are separated of each other.
 
Despite of this we manage to have a good coordination between all the staff. We are 15 teachers, three of them are English teachers.

Althought we have started this year our GEP project, we have started to teach Arts in English  3 years ago.

To do it, we choose a topic to work about during all the course, for example: feelings, shapes, body, etc.
Then, we look for famous artitst related to the topic and we work their paintings using  different art techniques as well as contents related to the topic.
