Although it's a small group it has different levels of knowledge among its members. Students come from different schools, with and without previous experience of english lessons.
They have the lessons after a 10- minute break and it takes a moment to have a sit and be ready for work.
When the class started the teacher greeted students and asked them their homework. None of them had done it. They suggested doing it in class and they immediately looked for pieces of cardboard to make the posters the teacher had asked .
They worked in complete order. Perhaps it was my presence in a classroom's corner, but the group work they performed was carried out in silence.
When they finished, the teacher stuck the posters on the board and the students described them. This activity took about 30 minutes. Then, the teacher asked them to open their workbooks and to complete the activities.
After 30 minutes they checked orally. Students participated in the oral activity when they were asked

They greeted me kindly and took their seats.
The teacher said hello to them and she immediately asked for homework. She had asked them to bring information about what their parents used to wear when they were younger. They exchanged the information and they moved to the next activity: The teacher said they were going to work with vocabulary. She copied the words on the board, read them and asked them to draw the correspondant image next to the words. She said that they could use dictionaries if they needed.

I think my first lesson resulted as I have planned.
I took into account strategies that allowed students to link previous knowledge to the new concepts. I also tried to use visual representations and games to provide memorable input.
Students responded actively and in my opinion they enjoyed the games I had chosen. The first game I presented to introduce vocabulary was "Hide and seek". They had to find pieces of cardboard with types of films written on them. They had been divided into two teams and it resulted a competition.
"Pass the bag" was the last game played and even though it is a game mainly thought for younger students, they spent a nice time playing it. For this reason, I chose that moment as one of the important ones in this lesson.

"Enjoyment is not a goal, it is a feeling that accompanies important ongoing activity."

                                       Paul Goodman

This lesson had the use of trailers as an aspect to be considered successful.
Students worked with trailers of new and old films, and they used tablets and notebooks to fulfill the activities. I think the use of gadgets is always positive at this age as they feel comfortable learning with technology.
Another important item that I brought to the class was a bag of popcorn for each of the students. This surprise motivated them to go on working with the topic.
What resulted less motivating as I had thought was to finish the lesson with a song from one of the trailers we had seen. I chose it because I liked it but it wasn't of much interest for them.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juTRRspWUqM
