In other words, the speaker’s point about dopamine is that once you get something you like it makes you think it’s better and makes your brain excited. The striatum is the most responsive part, and the teenagers are more attracted / addicted to it then kids and adults so since it makes one so excited about rewards, emotions, and new experiences can lead them to poor choices. Accordingly, The Crucible is related to this part of the presentation because Abigail and the girls that were dancing like to be reward so when they got caught they started accusing others.This can be applied because the teenage brain continues to grow until about 24, so your choices are on you.
