In-Vitro Fertilization originates back to 1855 when doctors began to believe they could cure women who were sterile. The first recorded case of artificial insemination was in 1884 when physician William Pancoast injects sperm into a women. In 1968 the first successful case of vitro fertilization was done by implanting fertilized eggs back into previously infertile women. The first test tube baby was then to come in 1978, and by 1980 despite all the controversy America's first IVF clinic was created

The average cost for executing In-Vitro is around $12,000- $15,000. Depending on your insurance company, prices can vary. More often than not, companies do not provide ensurance for a procedure like IVF. Using frozen embryos is significantly cheaper than a complete IVF procedure with fresh embryo. The average cost for a frozen embryo treatment is only about $3,000. MIni IVF, also known as Micro IVF, is a treatment where less fertility drugs are used on an embryo and less monitoring on that embryo. This usually costs around $5,000- $7,000. Although this method is cheaper, it is also less effective and have less clear and beneficial results.
