Wind speeds between 93 and 130mph (Met Office) 
169 people evacuated from their accommodation
People saying it left it looking like a ‘war zone’ 
Little boy had a tree fall on his cot but left him with no injuries. Glass, bricks and branches were left behind.
A car went on fire after a tree had landed in the middle of it. 
A road sign sliced a woman’s leg and arms open.
Roads were blocked, shops were unable to make trades due to this.

Children needing urgent help: 1.1 million 
People who needed humanitarian help: 2.8 million 

More than 505,000 were destroyed across the country 
More than 279,000 homes damaged across the country
