I observed that even though the atmosphere outside was 33 degrees fahrenheit, and water freezes at 32 degrees fahrenheit, it was still snowing. This happens because, the clouds that condensed water to make ice are a lot lower in temperature, but because it is not 32 degrees or lower outside, most of the snow melted when it hit the ground on certain types of material. On the grass, the snow was coagulating this is because, the grass was colder temperature than the concrete.

I observed that when water freezes it freezes at 0 degrees celsius, but today was not 0 degrees celsius. This was able to happen because the clouds in the sky condensed the water into snow and when that happens the temperature up there is a lot colder, so when it comes down it is snow, but on the ground it starts to melt a little bit on different materials because it is warmer on the ground than in the sky.

Whilst playing out in the snow, I observed the water cycle in constant motion. Condensation occurred at a constant rate, whilst precipitation was present. Every second spent outside, students were able to observe their breath come out in a viewable form. This is because it took the state of water vapor, where the water from our bodies condensed as it entered the cold winter air. Also present was precipitation, and the results of such. Due to weather, snow lay across the ground. Precipitation could be seen in the form of snow, as it fell from above. Snow is a great example for precipitation, as it allows students not only to view the process, and how it occurs, but also what the results are, and what happens when water evaporates, condenses, and finally falls from the sky. Snowy weather also allows students to directly observe condensation, through the occasion of seeing their breath.

I observed that the water from the clouds condensated, and due to the low temperatures caused snow. I had also observed that the pressure from our weight, caused the snow under our shoes to compact. I had also felt heat transfer from my hand into the snow. Since my hand was warmer, heat had transferred from my hand into the snow. My hand was losing thermal energy causing it to feel cold. Finally, the snow molecules are attracted to each other, allowing us to make a snowman, which was destroyed later on.

Hello my fellow colleagues. While I was outside I observed that when were outside the snow fit my hand and fit it's "container" however it did not move as much and did not do this as a liquid but in the middle of a solid and a liquid. I also noticed that as i threw a snowball the snow did not simply bounce off like a solid but actually splattered out on impact like a liquid would. however it remained intact while traveling unlike a liquid would. This leads me to believe that snow is neither a liquid or a solid but some kind of a mesh in the middle that can fit its container, remains intact until an object comes in contact with it, and that splatters out when is hit. Snow has qualities from both liquids, and solids

There was precipitation happening but the water that was coming down was frozen. Another observation I made was the fact that when I breathe, I could see my breath. I also noticed that when snow fell some melted and some did not. Another thing I noticed was if I put a small amount of snow in my hands, it would melt because of the transfer of thermal energy from my hand to the snow.

I observed that when we came in in the morning it was snowing a lot but when we went outside it wasn't snowing as much. I also observed that the snow was kind of more solid than the last time I saw snow as we were able to make snowman. I observed that the water cycle is in the stage right after precipitation happens as there was not very much precipitation.

I observed that the water was in its snow phase. The state of matter the water was a solid because it was snow. The snow had come from the clouds through snow precipitation that came from a body of water. The snow was very dense because the water molecules compacted so much. The water freezes to snow when the water hits 0 degrees celsius.
