Most students are not on grade level at this point. I agree with Ms. Stern, if phonics is focused on more, then it would lovely to see the comprehension levels later  on.

As we teach in years "post covid lockdown" I think its important and necessary to remember that students might not have the language or vocabulary to express how they are feeling.
