1. Kernel: this is the core of the O.S  and it has control over anything on it. It is consider the most important part of the O.S.
2. Process execution: this contains the program code and it's activity.
3. Interrupt: this are signals sent to the CPU by external devices. This works by telling the CPU to stop it's current activities and execute the appropiate part of the O.S.
4. Memory Management: it handels with the primary memory and moves precesses back and forth between main memory and disk during execution.
5. Multitasking:  this works in order to allow a user to perform more than one computer task.
 6. Networking: this is a computer operating system that is designed primarily to support workstations, personal computer and older terminals that are connected on a local  area network.
7. Security:  this is the process of making sure O.S  integrity, confidentiality and availability.
8.
