> The Legislative Branch -
           1. Enacts legislation.
           2.  Has the ability to declare war.
           3. Holds the right to confirm or reject many Presidential
                appointments.
           4. Holds substantial investigative powers.
           5. Is responsible for oversight of the executive branch.
> The Executive Branch-
           1. Issues regulations with the full force of law.
           2. Is responsible for implementing and enforcing the laws
                written by Congress.
           3. Appoints the heads of the federal agencies, including the
                Cabinet.
           4. Is composed of many different agencies, including the
               Department of Defense which is responsible for providing
               the military forces needed to deter war and to protect the   
               security of our country.
           5. Conducts diplomacy with other nations, and the President
               has the power to negotiate and sign treaties, which also
                must be ratified by two-thirds of the Senate.
> The Judicial Branch
           1. Interprets and applies the law.
           2. Holds highest court in the United States, the Supreme 
               Court.
           3.  Provides a mechanism for the settling of disputes.

I think the most important amendment in the constitution is the first one which "Prohibits any law “respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof;” protects freedom of speech and press; guaran- tees right to “peaceably assemble” and to “petition the Government for redress of grievances.”  This is important because I believe this amendment is suppose to prevent tyranny. Sometimes I do wonder if it truly is implemented when there are minorities in this country that are discriminated against based on politicians' religious views. It is also meant to protect the right of the people to protest. I also wonder if the right to peaceably assemble is fully respected by law officials also. I think this amendment is important because it was allegedly written to protect the right of all minorities. 

2. I think the 14th amendment is also a very important amendment because it is what protects reproductive rights/ the right of a person to have an abortion. Though there are lawmakers that try and undermine Roe v. Wade, this amendment protects a woman's right to an abortion because if falls within the right to privacy (as recognized in Griswold v. Connecticut).

3. The part of the Constitution that talks about the amendment process is Article V. Whenever two thirds of both Houses deem it necessary to propose Amendments to the Constitution or when the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States call a Convention proposing Amendments which will be Part of the Constitution when: ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by conventions in three fourths.
 However, no amendment made prior to 1808 will in any manner affect the first and fourth clauses in the 9th Section of the 1st Article.   • As mentioned in the CQ article, one way to fix the consistution is  requiring "Supermajority To Overturn Laws" There should be, according to KC64, a supermajority of atleast 7 supreme court justices to overturn a law as unconstitutional.

    Their reasoning is that if a law is to be deemed un- constitutional, it shouldn’t be a close call. It should be obvious. When a law is passed by Congress or a state legislature, and signed by a governor or the president, it has already been deemed constitutional by all those who approved it. It shouldn't be so easy to change afterward.
