Daughter of a tram driver, Carla Fracci was born on August 20, 1936, since 1946 she has studied at the Teatro alla Scala dance school with Vera Volkova and other choreographers, graduating in 1954. After two years she becomes a solo dancer, prima ballerina in 1958. In dance she plays romantic and dramatic roles. At the end of the eighties she directs the corps de ballet of the San Carlo Theater in Naples. From 1996 to 1997 he directed the ballet corps of the Verona Arena. From 2000 to 2010 he directed the corps de ballet of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma.
