Looked into Destiny updates.
Didn't know about ability to check in at off-site location. Also being able to assign in-process status when importing titles.  Another interesting find was being able to update book condition when doing inventory.
Reviewed how to send an eBook  from Sora to a Kindle device and how you can change settings to direct all checkouts to your Kindle.
Reviewed widgets in Destiny Discover and added search widgets to the CW library website.
Reviewed title searches and lending models in Overdrive.
Watched the webinar on
Inclusive Collections to Build Community and printed off guide.
Looked at some videos from State Digital Citizen Playlist and took a peek at Discover Books and Better World Books website.

Look at check out policy (2 weeks vs. 3) due to long hold period (19 days)
2. Need to weed expired titles (she can help us) so people aren't putting holds on them; keep on top of holds/metered in Marketplace
3. Look at our content access levels (grades 6-8) because many CT schools are using YA for grades 6-8--can we switch? Talk to Sally.
4. 371% growth in checkouts!
5. EBook spending is about $15,000--it comes out to about $1.04 per book
6. Need to continue to add diversity titles, we have some series gaps, ALA awards (this year we don't have yet), need more languages other than English, need more Latinx characters, need more LGBTQIA titles
7. Consider more audiobooks (especially when sales)
8. Stay consistent with our curated lists
9. Remove the lists that say K-6, 7-8, 9-12
10. Put the older kids' books up top since the little kids won't see them
11. Increase graphic novel and humorous selections (based on checkouts)


Note: SORA does not support pdf books--but a new version will change that in the future--hopefully later this spring
