When I saw this work I was a bit confused because the right half is very scribbled and messy, basically, just brush strokes. The left half is very detailed and you can feel the sunlight shining through the leaves on the face of a young woman.
What attracted me to this painting is that I like the way the artist has done a great job of showing the sunlight shining through the branches of the trees in the garden, and the mastery of the light and darkness of the objects is very vivid representation of the scene.

When I first saw the painting, the first thing that attracted me to it was the large cloud formations and the blue sky. The clouds are very realistic as if they were moving.

Also oil on canvas, a very small painting. A very good record of the beach sky and visitors. The sky takes up more than half the space, the figures are very small, but their movements are clearly portrayed by the artist, and near the center of the painting is a lady in a white dress holding a red umbrella, very striking. In the lower right corner is a child sitting on the beach playing. The artist has done a good job of dividing the sky, the sea, and the land.
