FAQ series is useful. The resources bridge the "old" and the "new" very nicely. Some of the info is a good crosswalk between the old version and the new version of the standards, but the info is presented in ways that do not alienate the readers to "assume" they should know certain things already.

My district has already planned our BOY meeting to intro the new standards and we had planned to have them actually turn pages of the massive book to get accustomed to how things have changed, yet stayed the same, as well. I think we will use the FAQ series resources to help with that.

This would be good to use and review with educators because it explains the Language Expectations and how they are now articulated in two expanded communication modes: interpretive
(listening, reading, and viewing) and expressive (speaking, writing, and representing). It also points out the multimodal ways one can communicate and honors the Can Do Philosophy in that way.

This resource helps to explain PLDs, It stands out because it can help to bridge understanding a student's ACCESS for ELLs results. Also, I was excited to read "PLDs serve as a guide for describing typical patterns of language development, and how language grows over time. The PLDs supply clear targets for language learning that educators can integrate into their curriculum planning
for students of all ages and stages of language development. This in turn can inform the choice of appropriate scaffolds.
