To make the coil pot, we rolled the clay up in to rolls and then we coiled it up. Afterwards we continuously stacked and smoothed it out. Enjoy our creation.

I made a simple coil pot. I made even coils ad simply wrapped them around to my desired height. I used slip to make sure it stayed together.

We wedged the clay, and then made the base. Then slowly rolled up the clay to form the body for the pot, then sculpted out the head and tail of the dragon.

We made a circle base and one layer at a time of coil, slipping and scoring each layer together. we got our idea off of google.

We made 5 similar sized coils and slip & scored them onto the base. We made the base by making a large coil and then smoothing it out. enjoy! <3 :)

We made a base. Then we made a bunch of coils and stacked them on top of each other to make a wall on top of the base.

We made a base. Then we made long rolls. Then we stacked them on top of each other, making the body of the pot. Then as the crown, we added a twist.

We made a coil base and smoothed it out. Then, we made snakes each one longer than the one before it, and connected them one on top of the other with the sip and score method. Lastly, we added little horse shoe like shapes to the top and smoothed it out the best we could.

We created a slab base first. We rolled out the coils and then wrapped them around the the slab base. We added the swirls because they make the pot cute, duuuhhhhhhhh.

Our group created a slab for our base to start. Following the slab, we began to roll out separate clay to make the coils. We made sure our coils fit the base enough to work with the idea for our coil pot. Then we slipped and score the coils onto the base. For out top, we spiraled some coils and slip and scored them to the other coils. We used a rib tool to smooth and blend the coils.
Originality and creativity make an interesting coil pot. Finding the inspiration, even through the examples of others, are good ways of creating your masterpiece.

We created the bottom first and then began adding the coils on the side. Some are swirl and some are zig zag. Lastly we added a braid on the top.

We just made a simple base and did a circle for it. We were going to make a stack of coils but we ran out of time because we messed up a couple times with the base. We wanna do a mixture of different coils as well to make it pop out.

My group decided to make coil pot in the shape of a heart. We used a heart shape as the base, spheres for one level, and coils for the second level. We choose this technique because of its simple technique, as well as its aesthetic appeal. Overall, my group is happy with the work and enjoyed working together.

Carmen created a base slab that was 1/4" thick, while we all made coils the size of the base. The coils were then slipped and scored on top of each other to create the perimeter of the pot.
