         <description><![CDATA[<div>Occurs when a blunt force is delivered over a sharp bone or a bone that is poorly padded, giving a wound the appearance of a jagged-edge cavity. For initial and post care first clean it by running cool water over the area and then use mild soap and water if possible. Dry it with sterile cloth. Next, apply antibiotic ointment and cover the wound with a sterile gauze bandage and medical tape. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Wounds with smooth edges. After you get it stitched/sutured gently wash it with soap and water to remove the crust. Don't scrub or soak the wound. Don't use alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or iodine, which can harm the tissue and slow the wound healing process. Air dry the incision or pat it dry with a clean, fresh towel before reapplying the dressing.  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>A cut that is made with a sharp object like a nail and goes through the skin and into the tissue underneath.&nbsp;For care of the wound, first wash your hands to prevent infection then stop the bleeding of the wound by applying gentle pressure with a clean bandage or cloth. Clean the wound by rinsing it with clear water for 5 to 10 minutes. Apply an ointment, cover the wound, change the dressing, and watch for signs of infection. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Skin is torn from the body.&nbsp;<br>To reattach the torn tissue, the avulsed tissue should be placed on moist gauze, preferably&nbsp; saturated with saline solution.&nbsp;<br>Should be taken along with the athlete to the hospital for reattachment. Keep the wound clean and dry for about 24-48 hours. Change the dressing once a day or if it gets dirty or wet. After 3 days the bandage may be removed, except in the case of drainage. Clean the area gently but don't rub or wash stitches or sutures directly.  </div>]]></description>
