I was used to it breaking, freezing or shutting down. When I first arrived in the Freeport school system, I had a dry erase board and then this touchscreen came and changed my world. Now we have smartboards that I'm still trying to figure out. Now the chromebooks for each student, iPads that I still have trouble with. Yes, this is part of the reason I chose to join this cohort. The 4th grade Mathematical Olympiads have used the pixton program to create comic strips to promote our annual St. Jude's Mathathon.
While I was a remote teacher, I used the online program whiteboard.fi for testing and for creating birthday cards for other students.
