         <description><![CDATA[<div>Dr. Wright said not to skip Word Work, but since we are doing Word Study could we skip it if we only have 15 minutes with each group? Or would it make sense to go to another day with that book just to do the word work portion?<br><br>RESPONSE: YOU DON'T WANT TO ENCOURAGE A ROUTINE OF 2 DAYS PER BOOK, BECAUSE IT WILL DIFFICULT TO GET OUT OF IT.  AT THE UPPER GRADES, YOU REALLY NEED MORE THAN 15 MINUTES PER GROUP.- COULD YOU PUSH FOR 18-20MIN?  YOU COULD SHORTEN THE WORD WORK PORTION, BUT IT IS NOT RECOMMENDED TO ELIMINATE IT; KIDS NEED THAT WORK WITH PHONICS IN TEXT. </div>]]></description>
