That is about one in nine people. The vast majority of people who are hungry live in  developing countries. An example would Asia has the largest amount of people that are hungry it  has about two thirds of the all the hungry people in the world. Another example would Sub-Saharan African countries. There one in every four persons are malnourished.  If women farmers had the same access to resources as men, the number of hungry in the world could be reduced by up to 150 million. 66 million primary school-age children attend classes hungry across the developing world, with 23 million in Africa alone. As someone who lived in Africa for almost all her life I've seen quite some of the people who have gone hungry. I've gone to shelters with my family in Nigeria as well as California.  I love working in the shelters because of the joy that they have on their faces. It really is sad all the people that I used to see on the street that were hungry. Mothers begging on the road to have enough money to feed their newborns.
