There are many types of people who go to food courts or hawker centres for different reasons. Many go mainly to eat, while others go to spend time with friends and families. In food courts, the people usually are less likely to interect with others as compared to people in hawker centres. I have seen people in food courts who do not even bother helping needy people such as elderly. However, people in hawker centres are friendly and are willing to help people in need. There was once where I saw an elderly having a hard time carrying her tray back to her seat in the food court. There were so many people in the food court but nobody bothered to walk up and help the elderly. I saw a similar scenario in a hawker centre where one man came forward to help the old lady who had leg injury to carry her tray back to her seat. Hence, people in hawker centres are much more helpful as compared to people in food courts.

There are a variety of food choices in hawker centre and food courts. These variety of food include different cuisines and desserts. One of the most popular dishes happens to be my favourite too. It is Singapore's renowned Chicken Rice which many tourists wanted to try when they visited Singapore. Since young, Chicken Rice has been my favourite. Not only it is affordable, it is also tasty and filling.

There are many types of stall in both food courts and hawker centres.  Both have several amount of different cuisine. Such as Japanese cuisine , Korean cuisine, Chinese cuisine and more. All of theses are in an affordable prices. 

However,  the atmosphere in both food courts and hawker centres are different. Based on my experience, i would much prefer to dine in hawker centres as the stalls

Personally, my family enjoys having meals at home because it is more budget-friendly. However on some occasions we would opt to eat out at either a hawker centre or food courts.

I feel that the stalls in hawker centres are less elegant compared to those in the food courts. The clanking of woks and pans are heard within the stalls. The ambiance in hawker centres is humid  ....................................

There are types of people from all walks of life gather at the food court for various reasons. People usually go to such areas to feast. These areas are great as people can gather there to spend time with friends and family.
