There are two types of dramas :1: classical drama 2: renaissance drama  
CLASSICAL DRAMA : classical drama is related with the theatre.  It highlighted the old  tradition of Greek people.  Classical drama is originated from Greece. 
Origin of drama:
Greek drama evolved from religious festivals that were celebrated to insure the pleasure. 
Thespis, a person leap on a wooden cart and recited  his poetry  as he is the character  who is reading the lines. He is consider as the world's  first actor.
