(2) I take a backseat ("get out of the way") when I see learners taking charge, and support them in their efforts, whether it is planned or a "teachable moment."
(3) Long term, I am planning units of study based on what students' interests are, based on surveys, comments, etc.

Allowing breaks as needed and trusting students to use those breaks wisely, giving them options for presenting material, options for manipulatives, or groups to work with or even options for which book we might be reading in reading groups.
