In my country  we value traditions that have been around for many years. For reference i believe traditions are important to the country i am from. Uzbekistan, is located in central Asia. There are many celebrations and family gatherings that are still known in modern day. One tradition that is also very valued in Islam is arranged marriage, Uzbeks believe the family's should meet first and discus what they love about there daughter or son then the daughter in law and the son in law should meet and if the family's agree on the marriage  then the couple should get  married. Since most of the population of uzbeks are Muslim they celebrate a very well known holiday called Ramadan, Ramadan  is a celebration for all Muslims who come together to worship our god and  fast as respect to the ones who are less fortunate. Its a month about respect and givings. There are also dances that represent Uzbek called the "Khorezm Dance" This dance goes back to hundreds of years it is a dance to show nature and life its like dancing to the emotions of the song.
