Arizona<br><strong>Years the case took place:</strong> February- June 1966<br><strong>What led to the case: </strong>Eirnesto Miranda was arrested from his house and interrogated about a kidnapping/rape crime. At the questioning he did not have an attorney present and felt the need to confess through a written note.<br><strong>Taken to court: </strong>Miranda was not provided with a law official and felt it his confession was a result of unlawful practice of 5th amendment<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><strong>Case Name:</strong> Blockburger V United States<br><strong>Years the case took place: </strong><em>No exact date found- year of 1932</em><br><strong>What led to the case</strong>: Harry Blockburger was convicted on the 2nd, 3rd, and 5th of 5 counts for illegally selling prescription drugs under the guidelines of the Harrison Narcotic Act.<br><strong>Taken to court:</strong> Blockburger believed that the crimes were too similar in structure to be considered different crimes and punished separately. He thought the amount of drugs, buyer, and time should be similar enough to defend his point of view.</div>]]></description>
