Discussion Highlights:
- In chapter 2 it is important to note that the love between Martha and Jimmy Cross began during the war. And this chapter is meant to show how they still have feelings for each other, even after the war in the lives they had to go back to following the war.
- In chapter 3 we noticed how the tone is much different from the other chapters. It feels more sporadic and all over the place, similar to the mind of a soldier thinking of his past memories.

-We discussed how the War weighed heavily on those who fought. It was all they focused on before, during, and after the event. It led to many people resenting their service and regretting going to war.
