Education is a means to empower each child with useful knowledge and skills to succeed while be a productive member of society. Stakeholders should work together to create an innovate curriculum aligned with the state standards that allows teachers with flexibility to infuse their creativity in order to engage students in meaningful, hands on and applicable lessons. Teachers along with parents should work together to support the student’s educational needs, creating an open, caring and individualized education. Teachers should utilize the districts curriculum while adding their own ideas and experiences to personalize learning to meet the needs of all learners.
