The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because agriculture is a huge part of the earth’s destruction. My first piece of evidence is, “70% of fresh water contamination comes from agriculture. 75% of fresh water usage goes to agriculture.” My evidence shows how agriculture uses a whole 75% of fresh water but at the same time contaminates 70% of it. Agriculture is using more fresh water that comes from other sources and gives out water that is contaminated which gives next to nothing back slowing down the system. My second piece of evidence is, “Animal grazing impacts the environment by being a huge part in the greenhouse gas emissions, it releases more carbon dioxide into the atmosphere. Cows also release a lot of methane which is damaging to the atmosphere”. My evidence is important because greenhouse gas emissions are a part of global warming. Overall, if we continue to release as much carbon dioxide as we do right now with farming the earth will eventually warm up. Oceans warming up will eventually destroy Antarctica. Destroying Antarctica can put a lot of species in danger leading to extinction. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative effect because they both contribute to climate change. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society.

Do you know what agriculture is? Do you think agriculture has a positive impact on society or a negative impact on society? Agriculture is how people farm crops and the rearing of animals. The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because it affect the environment and it is wasting the supplies that we have now.One detail is that “The Environmental Protection Agency says that animal agriculture is the number one cause of water pollution.” This shows that agriculture has one big effect on the environment and it is the number one cause of water pollution. The cause of water pollution would affect the water that we use and it would cause disease to humans, animals and plants. Another detail is that “Farmers ran the risk of starvation if one crop failed” This shows that if one of the crops failed then all crops would fail and people would starve. It tells that there is a possibility for farming to be failed and which it would impact everyone. Additionally, “People are not able to eat all the grains that we’re now farming.” This shows that people are not able to finish all the grains that people farm and which is a waste of resources. According to these 3 pieces of evidence it shows that the Neolithic Revolution had a negative because it shows how farming affects the environment it also tells how farming would waste supplies that we have today. In conclusion this is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more of a negative impact on society because the neolithic way has ruined our environment, and even our health has been affected. My first piece of evidence is when farmers are growing their crops they normally (not all, but most) use chemicals like pesticides and herbicides to help their crops grow without having to worry about pests/bugs being in the plants or damaging the crops. This shows that the Neolithic Revolution had a more of a negative impact because with the revolution came agriculture and with agriculture came all these chemicals to help the crops that are being released into the air and harming our environment. Another reason is farmers were in close contact with animals (dead and/or alive) causing them to get sick and bring diseases (anthrax, tuberculosis, and brucellosis). This piece of evidence is relevant to the claim because it shows how farming led to diseases being spread (and since people just started settling permanently this was causing everyone to be packed in really close together causing all these different types of illnesses to spread faster). Even though this revolution has brought some positives into light, we still have to acknowledge all of the negatives brought along with it. These reasons listed above are why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more of a negative impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more positive impact on society because it completely changed on how we live and do things. The Revolution also gave us time to invent new technologies and advance. My first piece of evidence is, “Because of farming, the population increased dramatically. Humans learned to manipulate the environment to their advantage. Humans invented new tools for agriculture.” To elaborate, the Neolithic Revolution helped us advance in technology. Agricultural society was able to support more people. The first example of writing was implemented in the Fertile Crescent which is an agricultural society. Most if not all of the tools that were made back then are still being used till this day. My second piece of evidence is, “This technique uses LED lights which changes year-round growing. The prices of the lights are going down and the energy is increasing. Vertical farming will also reduce food cost.Crops will be more fresh and there won’t be any use of pesticides. They require less land, water, and fertilizer.” To explain, the Neolithic Revolution did bring a lot of negatives to our society. But these constant devastation can be avoided if we implement vertical farming which is an innovation on how we farm. It will take up less space but feed more of our population. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more positive effect on our current society because a lot of the inventions and innovations that we have happened because of the revolution. The implementation of writing was revolutionary and completely changed our society. I do agree that the Neolithic Revolution did have a devastating effect on the environment, but this can be all prevented if we implement new techniques like vertical farming. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more positive impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because Meat Production has proven in a plethora of ways how it can be deeply deleterious to both the environment and the human race. To offer an exemplar, one text states the following, “About 260 million acres of U.S. forests have been cleared to create cropland to produce feed for animals raised for food”. To explain, the Neolithic Revolution provided a new source of food and eliminated any need for hunting and gathering. This new age, however, has also affected our land greatly and caused a tremendous amount of water and food consumption, which can have an exert influence on humans, as well. To supplement even further, an unknown source “Cows and other ruminant animals (like goats and sheep) emit methane, a potent greenhouse gas, as they digest grasses and plants. Methane is more than 25 times as potent as carbon dioxide at trapping heat in the atmosphere” This exemplifies how the Neolithic Revolution had a negative impact due to the greenhouse gases caused by cattle when consumption and gas exchange of natural resources occur. Furthermore, the animals are maltreating the environment and because of methane and it’s abilities, climate change is advancing further and further, not only destroying the environment entirely but affecting humans and their ability to inhabit the earth. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative effect on Earth because they each show how the Neolithic Revolution led way to a massive direction towards harming the environment, Earth itself, and humanity. Moreover, the methane outcome and how it deeply harms the earth shows just how much, using way too much of your natural resources and not caring at all for the environment can truly lead to earth becoming eventually inhabitable. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a huge role in damaging the environment and humanity through its influences from overworking Meat production ….., and Agriculture and its an appendage on humanity.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more positive impact on society because without the Neolithic Revolution society would not evolve. According to a History.com video, the Neolithic Revolution multiplied our population, it made our population grow from millions to billions of people in the world. If the population had not grown, civilization could not have grown, things could have been invented to improve our lives. According to another article, the Neolithic Revolution started civilizations and cities. Without cities and civilizations, people wouldn’t be united and society would not be the same. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more positive impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a positive impact on society since we had a more efficient and safer way of collecting food. This allowed the steady growth of the human population. Following the Neolithic Revolution, humankind has evolved leaps and bounds. From domestication to the building, etc. The Neolithic Revolution has completely changed how humans live, eat, and interact, and hence making way for modern civilization. For instance, the development of agriculture provided people with a surplus of food, the food that can be traded with others for more goods. People can now settle down and have many different jobs and ways of living that suited them better. The fact that we can have a variety of professions helped humans get to the next step.

The Neolithic Revolution transformed how humans live today, prioritizing agriculture over the hunting and gathering lifestyle, having a positive change on not only individual people, but society as a whole. For one, the use of agriculture allowed humans to develop permanent settlements, social classes, and new technologies. With less of a focus on gathering food, people were able to produce it themselves. This allowed people and groups to settle and develop a civilization with less worry on if they were going to be able to eat that night. Furthermore, agriculture allowed the human race to grow from a couple million to a few billion. More people, more ideas and development in society. The human race became a lot less scarce. Humans producing their own food, a food surplus occurred. Meaning more people to be fed and people to live longer, more healthy lives. More food, meant more people. More people, made a more developed society. In conclusion, the Neolithic Revolution had a greater positive impact on society as a whole then negative, making it possible for people to advance to where we are right now.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because it spread agriculture all over the world, and i'm here to prove that it's also counterproductive. My first piece of evidence is

Farming ends up taking up one third of the planet. This is terrible because that one third is very limited, and we can't grow it as fast as we sell the produce. At this rate, we will have to double this into 2 thirds of the planet, completely negatively affecting the environment and habitats of animals. And without the proper habitat for animals, they won’t be able to have enough living spaces for animals to get more produce. This can be said with plants too as they can overexert resources and end up with practically nothing. My second piece of evidence is Animal grazing. Basically animal grazing is animals eating all of their resources, this could be grass, fruit, plants and even water. This is pretty counterproductive, and there ends up being a lot of problems. They end up using so much of their own resources, that they deprive themselves of them. This is bad, because if animals don't get the resources they need they die. But what's even worse is if they are given a lot, the resources sometimes don't even grow back. So food is limited because they keep eating it, and they aren’t giving it a chance to grow back. Animals also produce waste, which can further more, make their source of water dirty, their source of food dirty, and even make the air around them stink. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact because it shows the overall impact on the world. With the first piece talking about how agriculture is slowly taking over our lives, and the second piece of evidence shows how farming is being affected on the inside, practically around the world. These are problems that can reduce farm products, reduce ingredients for foods, and overall just decrease everything, because plantlife and farms are used for a lot of things, could be clothes, the leather in cars, and other objects we use in our daily lives. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society, overall agriculture has taken over the world and has had some positives, but i feel as in my opinion that the negative here outweighs the good. It takes too much of the world, and is negatively affecting environments, and is also counterproductive. Farming isn't necessarily the worst thing, it's how it's being done. Chopping so many trees, making so many facilities, it's taking a toll on society because pollution also ends up being a problem. Cows eating and drinking so much of the things they need, people that keep on taking from the earth but not giving back. Farming is being done wrong. And to be honest? Kind of too much, i feel like the government should make people farm SOME of their food, so that we don’t have to rely on corporations that don’t even know how to do their jobs sometimes.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society than positive. I have evidence that proves why my reason is true, one of them being that farming is dangerous for humans. I believe this because it has been proven that it can cause disease and viruses such as diseases like anthrax, tuberculosis, and brucellosis from the farmers with dead and alive animals. This is bad since these kinds of things can not only kill us but spread to others just like covid-19 is right now making farming which is one of the things the Neolithic revolution started actually one of the things that can end all our lives. My next piece of evidence that shows farming is bad is how it messes up our diet that we have not adapted to. Before the revolution humans were strong and fitted for the environment with healthy balanced bodies/diets but now most are obsessed and even have cancer from the diets that they are relying on, Not only that but one bad crop can ruin all the crops spreading which even makes it a chance that humans can starve on how there's a high chance farmers need to start over. Farming has made it easier for us to get food with less effort of hunting and gathering but it has ruined us in many ways creating hazards which can even kill us since obesity/starvation have of course killed several people in the past with obesity having 3000! People a year. In conclusion the Neolithic revolution had a negative impact on society my evidence supports this because even though the Revolution created less effort it made more hazards and risk not willing and has already really made us go through alot.

Amir Pettway The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because of all the water they used and got diseases from not sanitizing .My first piece of evidence is how people in the Neolithic Revolution used 2,400 gallons of water just to make one pound of meat which is equal to 50 full bath tubs they could have used it to bathe. My second piece of evidence is the Neolithic didn’t have anything to sanitize with so they would get sick and get diseases so they would probably die. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic had a more negative impact because it shows what they didn’t do right and how they did not use their materials rights and how they got sick because they didn’t sandize and didn’t take caution. This is why I believe the neolithic had more of a negative impact on society.

Jayson: The Neolithic Revolution had a positive impact on society because it helped establish permanent settlements and also developed agriculture. The neolithic people began to use seeds to grow and harvest crops, and also domesticate animals which is still done today and it all started from the neolithic people. People today have farms in which they harvest and grow many crops to be sold to other people. They also have animals such as pigs and cows to be slaughtered and sold for food. They also helped establish permanent settlements which is also still done today. For example, people nowadays live in their own apartments or houses which would be considered their own permanent settlement for themselves. The Neolithic Revolution positively impacted society.

Noah: The Neolithic Revolution had more of a positive impact on society because it introduced farming, new crops, and civilization. The neolithic revolution introduced farming which ties into crops, back then and now we use a lot of those foods to eat, without the neolithic revolution we wouldn’t have any of that. Plus, without the neolithic revolution the people back then would probably not have enough to eat, which means there would be a way smaller population. Then another thing about the neolithic revolution, is that they started to settle down introducing civilizations. Without civilizations we wouldn’t be here right now because we live in a huge one called New York City.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact because it changed how we as humans live today and what we waste as people for farmers so they can have space to farm and agriculture. “Farming is taking a huge chunk of the world, sooner or later we might not have enough space for biodiversity.” Farming is taking a lot of land space in the world which is terrible because in a couple of years we are not going to have space for biodiversity and we'll slowly lose everything as a source of food this is because of Neolithic revolution, farming started in their and is now a huge thing in the world which is taking up a whole bunch of space. “Raising animals for food takes up half of all water used in the U.S.” Animals that are being raised by people in farms for food are slowly taking most of our drinkable water we have in the U.S because they are getting cleaned with that water and they are also using that water for hydration which is taking most of our water we drink to live as humans. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because we had a lot of free land to use but once the Neolithic Revolution happened, it started off good, the population of people increased, we were domesticating animals for food and it was going good. But now in the generation we live in is way different. The population of humans in the world is 7.8 billion. And The population is getting bigger day by day. So farmers are using most of the land on earth because 7.8 billion people need food to survive. The farmers need more land for food which is taking most of out land and sooner or later we are not gonna have enough space for biodiversity anymore. These are my reasons why I think the Neolithic Revolution had a negative impact on society.

My first piece of evidence is “The Environmental Protection Agency says that animal agriculture is the number one cause of water pollution. Mostly because of the massive amounts of animal poop spilling into our waterways.”
Animal agriculture is harming our water sources. This is a huge problem because it is harming our water ways. We need clean waterways/ water for many things like eating and drinking. Getting tainted water can affect our bodies severely. My second piece of evidence is “A major consequence of irrigation is draining water out of rivers and underground water systems.Irrigation can also cause floods, which create soil conditions that poison plant roots. In areas where water has been drained, the soil can become too salty. This also harms plant growth.Irrigation also increases water evaporation, or the process that turns liquid into gas. This affects air temperature and pressure. It also affects moisture in the air. Studies have shown that irrigation can change rainfall thousands of kilometers away from the irrigated areas”Even though irrigation is used to help crops grow it still has a negative side to it. Irrigation is not only ruining the land but it is also ruining the crops and air. Irrigation has too many negatives. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative effect because of all the damage it's done to our world.

The neolithic revolution had a more negative impact on society because of how it could harm the earth in many ways. My first piece of evidence is In 2004–05, 2.9 million acres of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil were destroyed in order to grow crops to feed animals on factory farms. This means lots of trees were cut down which could affect the world in a negative way because trees give off oxygen. With trees being destroyed in the amazon rainforest it could cause a hunger problem in the future like global warming. My second piece of evidence is their dependence on a limited number of crops, farmers ran the risk of starvation if one crop failed. This means if one crop failed due to weather conditions or natural hazards they will have a risk of starvation. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society.

I believe that Neolithic Revolution had a more positive impact. I believe this because Without the Neolithic Revolution we wouldn’t live how we would today. The way we live today, settled in homes, close to other people in towns and cities, protected by laws, eating food grown on farms, and with leisure time to learn, explore and invent is all a result of the Neolithic Revolution. Also helped revolutionize us into a larger agricultural settlements and early civilization. To add on new techniques were created due to the Neolithic Revolution to help us revolutionize. The Neolithic Revolution greatly narrowed the diversity of foods available, this allowing a downturn in the quality of human nutrition. Also the Neolithic Revolution involved a limited set of food-producing techniques.

The Neolithic Revolution had more of a negative effect on society. For example, the evidence I have states, “Farming releases many toxic gas emissions into the air.” In addition, the second piece of evidence I have states, “Farming uses so much land, that by 2050 we may not have any land for the growing population.” Both of these pieces of evidence show how the Neolithic Revolution had more of a negative effect on society because it has a huge environmental impact. The Neolithic Revolution is one of the reasons climate change exists. It’s destroying the earth every single day. It does have benefits, but in the long run, it’s killing us. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had more of a negative impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because it’s detrimental to both humans and the environment. Our ancestors domesticated animals to help them with labor, however, this wasn’t healthy because of the plagues exposed to humans. An unknown source states, “Farmers were in close contact with live and dead animals, utilizing their hides and their fleece, as well as their milk. Because of the lack of knowledge and sanitization in this era, people contracted diseases such as anthrax, tuberculosis, and brucellosis.” Currently, farming makes up the majority of freshwater usage with percentages of around 70%, producing a negative impact on the environment. Moreover, with the growing population, agriculture will only increase in demand for freshwater. Increased use of freshwater will be detrimental to the world in general if they aren’t able to experience sanitized water. Freshwater also removes habitats for animals since they drain whole lakes and rivers for crops. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative influence because it caused damage to the environment and humans themselves. With agriculture, we are forcing animals to do labor for us and taking away their habitats and water sources. This also hurts humans in return because, without as much toil, we will be out of shape, decreasing life expectancy. That is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution harmed society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because agriculture damages the environment and us humans. My first piece of evidence is Modern agriculture depends on chemical fertilizers. These are compounds that farmers spread over crop fields or into dirt. Large amounts of nitrogen and phosphorus harm ecosystems. My second piece of evidence is Worldwide, 70 percent of the freshwater that people use goes to agriculture. These two evidence shows that the agriculture has effected the land that we live on. There is too much water usage for plants and the chemicals used for planting is very harmful to the land. This is why i believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society.

The Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact on society because it can potentially lead to a decrease in population. My first piece of evidence is diseases were transfering from animals to humans easier. Agriculture encouraged people to clump together in crowded societies led to the spread of parasites and infectious disease. My second piece of evidence is that agriculture lead to people having lack of nutrition that the human body needs to grow and survive. “Skeletons from Greece and Turkey show that the average height of hunter-gatherers toward the end of the ice ages was a generous 5'9" for men, 5'5" for women. With the adoption of agriculture, height crashed, and by 3000 B.C. had reached a low of 5'3" for men, 5' for women.” This shows how the Neolithic Revolution caused people to grow shorter than preagricultural people. It also shortened peoples life expectancy. Both pieces of evidence show that the Neolithic Revolution had a more negative impact because they show how agriculture caused diseases to spread and caused people to have lack of the nutrition they need which both can potentially lead to population decrease. This is why I believe the Neolithic Revolution had a more positive negative impact on society.
