sister I'll tell you the truth don't take it badly, that new look doesn't suit you, therefore my recommendation is that you change it, I already went through that one day and I don't want to judge you don't get mad it's just my point of view. 
I don't like your new look, it makes you look very different from the others, I liked the way your hair was before, without lying to you, you look a little more rebellious,
maybe in a couple of weeks I hope you can change it, let's see what my parents tell you with your new look. I think your friends will tell you the same thing I'm telling you. 
Besides, you know very well that extravagant hairstyles are not allowed in the institute where you study.
