         <description><![CDATA[<div>The outcome of the Afghanistan war had Afghan rebels coming out on top and winning back their land and their non communist government. The Afghan rebels were supported by the US and their allies who supported the rebels with money weapons and training. The USSR suffered heavy casualties and went bankrupt which helped lead to the dissolution of the Soviet Union<br>This all helped to the rise of terrorist groups like the Taliban.</div>]]></description>
