The deputy head of the Public Relations Division of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) said PKS as part of both the Indonesian people and the Ummah strongly condemns the reckless decision of the US President, Donald Trump.

As a show of solidarity and to reinforce their standpoints on the independence for the Palestinians, said Dedi, PKS is going to run a Pro-Palestinian demonstration in front of the US Embassy in Jakarta, on Sunday (10/12/2017).

Dedi said that all elements of PKS in Indonesia had taken to the streets across various provinces to express their solidarity with Palestine. "The Palestine demonstration tomorrow will be attended by hundreds of thousands people, including the party members, Islamic organizations and the community," explained Dedi in Jakarta, Saturday (9/10/2017).

Dedi highlighted that the Pro-Palestinian rally as would also be a show of solidarity to the Palestinian people who are under the Israeli occupation for decades. "The demo tomorrow will also be attended by the PKS President, its central leadership board, and representatives of Islamic Organizations, such as PUI and Mathla'ul Anwar," said Dedi.

He also stated, that since Friday, PKS members and the community have held a solidarity action for Palestinians in Banten, Central Java, East Java, West Kalimantan and East Kalimantan.

"And tomorrow, besides in Jakarta, similar rallies will be organized in West Nusa Tenggara, South Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Riau, Bengkulu, Kaltara, Jambi and Lampung and other districts and cities," said Dedi.
