It should be the proper structure of a comparative essay. like including the impact on the reader should always be there

Also, sir told me to give an insight (deep understanding) in identifying themes, since both texts explore the same theme/ social issue of relationships between fathers and their children.

According to the teacher's feedback I need to work on the following things.
Firstly, my essay was more of a decriptive writing , it seemed like I was informing the reader on just what the text is about . In all of my body paragraphs, I was far from persuading the reader in my understanding and interpretation of the text. The requirements were to convince my views of the texts indepth.
Secondly, I need to work on my sentence structure. I had several unfinished sentence, which was as a result of both syntax and a little bit of a mistake.
Thirdly, I need to work on commenting on the effect of authorial choices in conveying the message. Evaluating critically the effectiveness of authorial choices in purpose.
Lastly, I also need to work on the focus and evaluation of the guiding question. The focus of the guiding question helps in being specific.
